i don’t understand why the reps go down every week. answer 1: intensity (weight or effort relative to your rm/maximal effort) and volume are inverse components of exercise. you can’t increase the weight that you use enough to achieve the correct stimulus and keep the number of reps per set the same. you must decrease the reps and increase the intensity to achieve the desired result (getting bigger and stronger) without over doing it.
