a few phone interviews followed by an in person interview that they flew me up. all they asked were about the experience. they introduced the job i would do in details if i get hired. face to face. applied online, got call in 2 days and went in for interview. in march i was offered the position, march 1st to be exact. i worked for a govt agency and they do not do employment verifications what so ever. i had let them and the investigation team know this but they rescinded my offer.
they stated they could not hold my jobs while i attempted to get them the documents but you string me along waiting around for jobs. i have other job interviews lined up anyway because i was forced to settle for a dead end because my bills does not stop because jobs drag their tails. the first was general hr, the second was with two associates in the full time rotational program (gmdp), and the third was with the head of the program. but be sure to look up aetna’s core values beforehand, i brought them up unprompted and they seemed impressed, and then in one of the later rounds they asked me about how these values fit with my culture. this was my true first phone interview so definitely a mistake i will not make again! after two weeks i received an email about setting up a phone interview. if you make it through the phone interview, then is the formal interview with a manager. it was disappointing they did not mention in the interview they only wanted candidates who can work asap.
